Fresco Dry Barf Complete Plus Lamb

FRESCO Dry Barf Complete Plus Lamb consists exclusively of pure muscle meat, offal and calcium bones from lamb as well as fresh fruit and vegetables and high-quality oils.

What's in it and why?

Fresh lamb muscle meat (35%)
Dogs need protein to build and maintain their organs, muscles and enzymes. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right proportions and therefore has a high biological value. Meat also contains iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins.

Fresh lamb offal (15%)
Lamb offal is particularly rich in protein and contains plenty of sodium, vitamin B12 and biotin.

Fresh green lamb rumen (15%)
Lamb rumen is particularly high quality because it contains the pre-digested green plants of the feed animals. The bacteria in the lamb rumen have already broken them down and converted them into high-quality protein. It has an important beneficial effect on the dog's digestion.

Finely ground fresh lamb breastbone bones (13%)
Bones are part of every B.A.R.F. recipe. They contain important natural calcium, iron, valuable fatty acids and enzymes.

Freeze-dried lamb liver (2%)
Lamb liver is particularly valuable as it contains a lot of iron and many vitamins (A, B 2, B 12, biotin etc.). The gentle freeze-drying process preserves heat-sensitive vitamins.

Carrots (6%) and beet (3%)
They contain many vitamins and minerals (especially potassium). They also contain saponins and flavonoids, which stimulate the appetite and aid digestion.

Fresh natural apples (3%) and pears (3%)
Apples contain pectin, vitamin C, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. Pears contain vitamin C, 4 vitamins B, lots of potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron and iodine.

Blueberries (1%)
Mainly a source of manganese and copper, but also contain vitamin C, carotene, iron, potassium, sodium, vitamins of the B group and anthocyanins.

High-quality cold-pressed sunflower oil (1.8%):
Important supplier of vitamin E, linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid and essential fatty acids

Cod liver oil (0.6%)
Mainly a supplier of vitamin D, but also high in vitamins A and E and rich in iodine and omega-3 fatty acids.

Salmon oil (0.4%)
Supplier of essential fatty acids, provides a balanced omega-6 to omega-3 ratio.

Rose hips (0.4%)
Rosehip peel is rich in natural vitamin C (ascorbic acid).

Algae lime (0.4%), mineral water (0.3%), seaweed (0.1%)
Important suppliers of minerals (magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and iodine).

Feed change

• Fresco recommends an immediate change of food.
• Skip one meal (preferably in the evening) and start directly with the Fresco food at the next meal
• Feed a single variety for the first 14 days so that the dog's stomach can get used to the food
• After two weeks, Fresco recommends alternating between different flavors.
• Together with Fresco Barf Oil (3ml per 100g Fresco dry barf) and Fresco Multivitamin + Mineral Booster, this results in a balanced Complete food.

Preparation

• Open the bag, pour the desired amount of food into the bowl and that's it!
• Soaking the food is not necessary
• Of course, your dog should always have enough fresh water available.

Storage

• Store dry kibble away from direct sunlight, heat and Moisture.
• Opened bags can be easily resealed thanks to the pressure seal and will keep for several weeks.

Why Fresco dry barf?
Fresco has decided to completely dispense with any additives in Fresco dry barf food. Most dog food consists of inferior raw materials, mainly cereals, bone meal and fats. They often contain only a very small proportion of fresh meat and instead contain meat meals that are declared as dried meat.
In comparison, Fresco dry barf relies exclusively on natural ingredients. Our food contains only fresh meat, bones and offal, vegetables, fruit and selected oils.

How much food is in 1kg of dry barf?
The production process of Fresco dried B.A.R.F. differs from all conventional "premium" dry food. Instead of extruding the ingredients under high pressure and high temperatures (pressure cooker), they are elaborately air-dried and freeze-dried.
Fresco uses up to 4kg of Complete Plus Ready-to-Eat Barf to produce 1kg of dry barf, as the drying process removes almost all of the Moisture. This gentle drying process preserves the vital nutrients from the original ingredients.
