Acana Puppy Recipe
Dogs are born carnivores, adapted to a diet rich and varied in fresh, wholesome animal ingredients. A growing puppy needs protein and fat from animal protein to support its rapid development.
That's why ACANA Puppy Recipe is full of fresh free-range chicken, as well as eggs from free-range chickens and Game-caught flounder from the Canadian Pacific.
In the WholePrey ratio of meat, offal, cartilage and bone, ACANA naturally delivers nutrients in their most nutritious form for optimal health and development.
Product benefits:
- Rich in meat (70%)
Just like its ancestor, the wolf, the dog is biologically adapted to a meat-rich diet. That's why Acana is made with 70% meat, including free-range chicken, Game-caught fish and whole eggs from free-range chickens from regional farms and from animals that are also approved for human consumption.
- Rich in protein (30%)
Acana derives its high protein content from high quality plant-based ingredients to support muscle mass and nourish your dog according to its evolutionary needs.
- Carbohydrate limited (25 %)
By nature, a dog needs few carbohydrates. An excess of carbohydrates has long been recognized as one of the main causes of obesity and diabetes. Acana contains only a limited amount of carbohydrates and focuses on vegetables and fruits with a low glycemic index.
Acana is an award-winning pet food manufacturer with a reputation of trust that spans more than a quarter of a century.
Acana makes organically appropriate dog and cat food from fresh local ingredients, and make it from start to finish in their own award-winning kitchen.
Acana's mission is to set a new standard in pet nutrition, nourishing dogs and cats in two ways.
