Urostat®

Urostat® is a feed supplement for dogs and cats to protect the mucous membranes such as the bladder mucosa.

Urostat® supplements the diet with glucosamine, a basic building block of glucosaminoglucans. These are an essential component of the protective layer that lines mucous membranes such as the bladder mucosa. Urostat® also provides vitamin A, which is essential for healthy mucous membranes. Valuable plant components also serve as a source of numerous secondary plant substances.

Product benefits:

  • D-mannose
    is a simple sugar that has little effect on blood sugar and is excreted in the urine
  • Glucosamine
    is a component of the bladder's protective mucosal layer
  • Vitamin A
    is required for the integrity of the mucosal epithelial cells
  • Nettle, goldenrod, field horsetail and blackcurrant
    with many valuable plant substances
  • Cranberries
    are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants

Animals with suspected cystitis must always be presented to a vet.

To be administered with food or directly into the mouth.

For dogs with a weight

up to 10kg 2x daily 1ml
from >10 - 20kg 2x daily 2ml
over 20kg 2x daily 3ml


For cats with a weight

up to 5kg 2x daily 0.5ml
from >5 - 10kg 2x daily 1ml

Recommended feeding period:
Up to 8 weeks, but at least 16 - 20 days. Administration can be repeated.

In addition, fresh water should always be offered for free disposal. Animals suspected of having a bladder infection
must always be presented to a vet. Shake before use!

D-mannose 10 %, sugar beet syrup, glucosamine 2 %, (nettle, field horsetail, goldenrod, lavender, blackcurrant) macerated 2 % each, cranberry, ground 0.5 %, phytosterols, goldenrod, ground 0.1 %, field horsetail, ground 0.1 %

Guten Tag Unsere Katze, die unter immer wiederkehrender Blasenentzündung litt, ist seit der regelmässigen Gabe von Urostat erfreulicherweise komplett beschwerdefrei. Kann dieses Produkt auch durchgehend gegeben werden oder ist nach acht Wochen zwingend eine Pause nötig? Falls die Eingabe unterbrochen werden sollte: Für wie lange? Im Voraus herzlichen Dank für Ihre Antwort!

Welches Produkt würden sie mir empfehlen bei einem gesunden 16j. Lagotto, wenn er nach zuviel trinken unkontrolliert Wasser lässt. Das passiert ca. 1x am Tag. Ich gehe jetzt auch alle 2h mit Ihm Wasser lassen.

Guten Tag, bei Diabetes ist es nicht zu empfehlen, da es viel Glucose (Sirup) enthält. Cystopro oder Urinaid sind bei Diabetes besser geeignet. Ihr iPet Team
