almapharm astoral®Methio Tabs H for dogs
Almapharm 's astoral Methio Tabs H tablets acidify the dog 's urine.
The formation of urinary stones is favored by various factors, such as genetic predisposition, insufficient fluid intake, excessive mineral intake in the diet, lack of exercise, too high or too low a pH value. Struvite stones in dogs can be dissolved by urinary acidification. Methio Tabs H support the dissolution of struvite stones in dogs. The content of methionine, a uric acidifying amino acid, shifts the pH value of the urine into the acidic range. The ideal pH value for dissolving struvite stones should be between 6.2 and 6.5.
Once the urinary stones have dissolved, the Methio Tabs from Astoral should be discontinued.
