It is designed to specifically promote nerve metabolism and brain function and is ideal for compensating for diet- and age-related deficiencies in neurotrophic B vitamins and antioxidants. almapharm CereFit K provides medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), consisting of approx. 70% C8 caprylic acid and approx. 30% C10 capric acid. These act as a ketogenic energy source for neurons and function completely independently of glucose metabolism. Therefore, the powder is also an excellent source of medium-chain fatty acids as part of a ketogenic diet.
