Respiration is a very important factor for well-being and performance. Studies have shown the close link between respiration and performance. The respiratory system is often forgotten when a horse suffers from poor performance. And yet it is a system that has to function at one hundred percent all the time so that the horse is efficient and does not tire too quickly.

Audevard Balsamic Control
Balsamic Control from Audevard is a feed supplement in pellet form with a plant-based content of almost 75%, which helps horses that often live in dusty environments (hay, pollen, mold, etc.) to keep their airways healthy. It is also a great support for young sport horses in training. It contains a special combination of 4 ingredients (black cumin, lemon, eucalyptus and garlic) carefully selected by Audevard's veterinary experts.
Throughout the year, dust, mold or pollen in the environment can cause repeated respiratory problems in some horses. These complaints reduce the blood's ability to absorb oxygen and can impair your horse's performance and well-being if it is very sensitive. Optimization of respiratory capacity may also be necessary in young horses that are in a training phase.
It is important to recognize the signs that may indicate a deficiency in nutrients for lung function: Decline in performance, flared nostrils, unwillingness to exercise, puff breathing, difficulty exhaling, prolonged recovery time after exercise, difficulty adapting in dusty environments, discomfort in poorly ventilated stalls, when feeding hay or emaciation, and poor general condition. Take careful note of your observations and discuss them with your vet, who can advise you and recommend Balsamic Control.
Experience has shown that horses that have already suffered from respiratory problems several times are very likely to have the same complaints again. This can occur when the horse's environment changes (box, pollen, dust, dry weather). These recurring complaints occur more frequently in older horses. Balsamic Control can be given before and during any risk period to mitigate the effects of a dusty environment in summer or if your horse spends more time in the box in winter. Balsamic Control can be used all year round. Consult your vet about this if necessary.
Balsamic Control does not contain any ingredients in its composition that could cause your horse to test positive for doping.
