Audevard's Vetidral Solution is a food supplement developed to compensate for the loss of electrolytes in horses during heavy sweating, after intense physical exertion, in hot weather, etc. The horse loses not only water but also electrolytes.
Heavy sweating causes the horse to lose not only water, but also electrolytes, which are of great importance for the body's exchange processes. It is therefore important to compensate for this loss of electrolytes with an appropriate supply of nutrients.
The Vetidral formula supplies electrolytes in the same quantity as the electrolytes contained in sweat and thus compensates for the loss. The product also contains prebiotics to promote physical convalescence and the absorption of electrolytes.
Electrolytes are often administered after physical exertion, but it is even more effective to administer them in the days before the exertion so that the horse can build up reserves.
