The Baskerville Wide Fit muzzle is lighter than plastic muzzles and at the same time more robust with greater durability. The secret lies in its manufacture from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Another benefit of this unique material is that the muzzle can be individually adjusted to fit your dog's snout in hot water. The dog-friendly basket design allows dogs to pant, drink, play and receive treats without restriction. The improved nose pad and the secure, easily adjustable neck strap make it very comfortable to wear. So your dog feels comfortable and you are always carefree when out and about.

Size:

Size 1: suitable for dogs in the size/shape of the Boxer and Pitbull breeds.
Muzzle length: 4 cm; muzzle circumference: 28 cm

Size 2: suitable for dogs in the size/shape of the Mastiff breed.
Muzzle length: 4.5 cm; muzzle circumference: 32 cm

Note: The muzzle must be large enough to allow the dog to open its mouth and pant without difficulty. The front end of the muzzle must be 1 cm away from the nose. The example breeds mentioned are only intended as a guide to choosing the right size. This may vary depending on the dog and the shape of the muzzle. The length of the muzzle is the most important factor for the correct fit. If your dog is between two sizes, it is best to choose the larger one.

Measure the muzzle length: distance between the tip of the nose and the root of the nose directly under the eyes.
Measure the circumference of the snout: circumference at the widest part of the dog's snout (usually directly under the eyes).

Fitting:
The Baskerville Wide Fit muzzle is moldable and can be optimally adapted to the shape of your dog's snout. To do this, place the muzzle in hot water (approx. 80° C) for approx. 1-2 minutes and then adjust the shape of the muzzle individually with your hands. Allow the muzzle to set in cold water and then check the fit on your dog. If necessary, repeat these steps until you have achieved the perfect fit.

The material tends to want to return to its original shape over a longer period of time. You will therefore need to readjust the muzzle from time to time.
