Bello is a own-brand product of Meier Hille, a company that has been producing high-quality animal feed at its family-owned mill in Hille, in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, since 1897. The company always endeavours to source its raw materials locally wherever possible. As a result, maize, cereals, meat and even soya from local farms are processed.

In Germany, however, the cultivation of genetically modified crops is not permitted, and all Meier Hill animal feeds are guaranteed to be GMO-free. What began as the production of flour for baking and animal feed for local livestock has developed into a company specialising in high-quality animal feed and dietary supplements for all types of animals.
Thanks to its expertise and the experience of four generations, Meier Hill produces animal feed of the highest quality. The development of new formulations is based on ongoing dialogue with scientists and breeders, ensuring that the composition and quality of its products are constantly improving.
The company has made a name for itself with its ‘BARF PLUS’ range – natural and tasty dietary supplements for the BARF diet, available in a wide variety of flavours.
