Canina Organic Seaweed Flour is a high-quality natural product made from fresh seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) from controlled organic cultivation. It has exceptional biological effectiveness, which is preserved by the gentle drying of the seaweed. The flour contains many essential amino acids and thus promotes pigmentation of the coat, eyes, nose, lips and paws. Canina seaweed meal is rich in vitamins, trace elements, carotenoids and minerals. Regardless of the type of food, it can supplement the quality of the food and thus support the productivity, health, energy and well-being of the animal. Especially when feed quality fluctuates, seaweed can have a remarkable effect on a variety of performance criteria and serve as a kind of insurance against feed deficiency symptoms.

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:
As a cure over 4 weeks:
Dog: ½ teaspoon per 10kg body weight (max. 3 teaspoons)
Cat: 1.5g (1 teaspoon = approx. 7g) with the food
To cover the iodine requirement for B.A.R.F. / self-prepared food:
Adult dogs: 0.03g/kg body weight
Growing dogs, lactating bitches, dogs with increased muscle activity: 0.05g/kg body weight
Adult cats (2-10 kg body weight): 0.04g
Growing cats, nursing cats, outdoor cats with a lot of exercise: 0.06g
The iodine requirement can vary regionally, individually, depending on the breed, gender and activity of the animal.
