Application
CANIPUR - fertil contains biologically high-quality vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids, which serve to harmonize and optimize the fertility process in bitches and stud dogs and to maintain pregnancy during the first few weeks. They also regulate heat in bitches that are not mated and reduce the symptoms of false pregnancy.
Feeding breeding dogs correctly
It is extremely important for the dog owner to provide the ideal nutrition for the stud dog and bitch. In addition to good basic food, high-quality vital substances play a central role here. These influence the sperm quality of the male dog and help the bitch to maintain ideal conditions for successful conception during the so-called "heat". The risk of abortion is particularly high during the first weeks of pregnancy.
A wide variety of external influences can impair the healthy maturation of the foetus. Attention should be paid to the dog's special supply of vitamins, trace elements and amino acids. CANIPUR - fertil is therefore the right supplement for a successful gestation period and healthy breeding males. We recommend CANIPUR - gravid from the 5th week of pregnancy.
Small dogs (4-15 kg): 3-10 g per day
Medium dogs (16-39 kg): 10-20 g per day
Large dogs (40-80 kg): 20-40 g per day
administer with food.
Due to the higher content of vitamin D3 and trace elements, the daily ration should not be more than doubled.
Feeding duration:
Breeding bitches: To achieve an optimum ovulation and conception rate and to prevent premature abortions, feeding should start 3-4 weeks before the mating date and be maintained during the first 4 weeks of pregnancy. From the 5th week of pregnancy, CANIPUR - fertil should then be replaced by CANIPUR - gravid, which provides optimum nutrition for the pregnant and lactating dam.
Breeding males: To improve mating behavior and semen quality, feeding should begin 2-3 weeks before mating and be maintained during mating.
Non-mated bitches: To support a regular heat and to reduce the symptoms of false pregnancy, feeding should begin approx. 2 weeks before the expected start of heat and continue for 2-3 months until the symptoms of false pregnancy have subsided.
