Diatomaceous earth has the following properties:

• Strong moisture-absorbing properties
• Binds flea and mite feces

It is not possible to overdose on diatomaceous earth. The amount applied to the target areas depends on the material’s texture. A light-colored coating should be visible throughout the treated areas.
Diatomaceous earth consists of the ground-up skeletons of fossilized diatoms. These skeletons are composed of silicon dioxide.

The use of diatomaceous earth as a natural raw material is becoming increasingly important. Its absorbent properties are put to good use wherever liquids or Moisture need to be bound. The product is also approved for use in animal feed in accordance with EU regulations for all animal species. This ensures the highest level of product safety, particularly when used in close proximity to animal feed. 

It must be applied and stored in a dry condition. If the powder becomes slightly damp, place it in an open container on a heater to dry.

Recommended Use:

In the home: Spread as evenly as possible. In particular, sprinkle a thin layer on carpets, carpet edges, and plush underlayments, and work it in if necessary.
In the barn: Carefully sprinkle the powder on floors, walls, in corners, and in cavities. Diatomaceous earth can be applied to the target areas either by hand or with a dusting pump (pressure sprayer).
Diatomaceous earth must be stored and applied in a dry state; otherwise, it will not be effective.

May irritate the respiratory tract and eyes. Wear an FFP3 mask and safety goggles during application.

Seal the container tightly after use! Has an indefinite shelf life when stored in a dry place.

Caution: Light-colored materials may become discolored!
