For a needs-based supply when feeding raw.
The proportion of animal fat in the dog's diet should be 15-25% of the meat content and approx. 10% of the total amount of food for cats.
If your dog or cat is fed meat that is too lean, he or she will turn to proteins for energy.
When energy is obtained from proteins, waste products are produced which have to be broken down by the liver and kidneys. The strain on the metabolism increases, which can lead to an overload of the excretory organs in the long term.
Particular attention should be paid to the fat content of the meat for cats or dogs that are poor feed converters or severely underweight.
