Dennerle Carbo Test Precision Medium – A precise CO₂ test for a healthy aquarium
With the Dennerle Carbo Test Precision Medium, you can reliably and continuously monitor the CO₂ levels in your aquarium. An optimal supply of carbon dioxide is crucial for vigorous plant growth, stable water parameters, and the well-being of your fish and invertebrates. This high-quality continuous test allows you to easily and visually monitor the CO₂ level—without the need for complicated measuring devices.
The test uses a precise indicator liquid that changes color depending on the CO₂ level in the water. This allows you to see at a glance whether the level is within the optimal range or needs to be adjusted. Continuous monitoring is essential, especially for planted aquariums with CO₂ fertilization, to prevent deficiencies or overdoses.
Thanks to its high-quality construction and clear color display, the Dennerle Carbo Test Precision Medium is ideal for discerning aquarists who value stable water parameters.
Benefits:
- Precise and continuous CO₂ monitoring in the aquarium
- Simple visual evaluation via color scale
- Supports healthy plant growth
- Increases safety for fish and shrimp
- Ideal for aquariums with a CO₂ fertilization system
- Reliable quality brand from Dennerle
- Suitable for freshwater aquariums
Instructions for use:
- Fill the designated test chamber with the included indicator solution according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Place the Carbo Test Precision Medium in your aquarium (recommended in the middle to lower section of the tank, where it is clearly visible).
- Wait a few hours until the indicator liquid has adjusted to the CO₂ level.
- Compare the color of the test solution with the color chart to determine the CO₂ level.
- Check the test regularly and adjust the CO₂ supply as needed.
Explanation of test results:
- Blue → CO₂ level too low
Your plants are not receiving enough carbon dioxide. Increasing the CO₂ supply is recommended. - Green → CO₂ level optimal
The value is within the ideal range for healthy plant growth and stable living conditions. - Yellow → CO₂ level too high
There is an excess of CO₂. Reduce the CO₂ supply to avoid stress for fish and invertebrates.
Use biocides with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
