Cotton fabrics are considered to be very skin-friendly (they do not "scratch") and have an extremely low allergy potential. These properties make them interesting for the textile industry. There are many reasons for using cotton in fabrics. Cotton is boil-proof, easy to care for and comfortable to wear. Cotton can be stretched by up to 10%, absorbs a lot of Moisture (up to 65% of its own weight; still feels dry at 20%). The strength is even better with Moisture than with dryness.
