Farmina ND Spirulina contains the blue-green algae spirulina, which gets its name from its characteristic spiral shape.
It is considered a superfood and in recent years it has been widely used in human nutrition due to its numerous properties. It is a source of fatty acids, vitamins and minerals and is valued for many properties, such as:

• Ability to stimulate the immune system
• Strong antioxidant effect
• Maintaining a slim body shape thanks to its effect on the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.

The action of spirulina is mainly due to a particular compound, phycocyanin, which together with chlorophyll controls the activities of this algae. The most important of these is certainly its ability to reduce fat formation in the body. This makes it an ideal ingredient to support the maintenance of a correct shape.

Note on the color of the croquettes
Sometimes the external appearance of the feed can change in the different production batches, as Farmina only uses natural ingredients, and sometimes there can be variations in color that are also reflected in the kibble.
The same species can have different meat colors, darker or lighter, and this is reflected in the color of the kibble.
Farmina does not use artificial colorants for uniformity of different batches.
Therefore, the appearance of different shades of color in the kibble is normal and does not affect the quality of the feed or its nutritional properties.

Size of the croquettes
All kibbles have a size range to ensure correct fragmentation of the feed.
Although rare, minimal variations are sometimes possible within the same bag.
