Ferplast Ranch 120 BASIC rodent hutch
The Ranch 120 BASIC rodent hutch from Ferplast is a comfortable residence for guinea pigs and rabbits that is also suitable for outdoor use. It is robust and hard-wearing and is made from FSC®-certified Nordic pine wood. The wood is protected by a non-toxic and mold-inhibiting ecological impregnating varnish, is durable, resistant to UV rays and water-repellent.
The gate is equipped with a sliding door with a safety lock and the accessories include a wooden ladder that provides access to the upper floor. The upper area is equipped with a plastic tray, which is ideal for bedding and provides access to the small retreat house. The roof can be fully opened for maintenance purposes. The removable dirt collection drawer is covered by a wooden flap that can be locked with special hooks.
As rabbits and guinea pigs are very social animals, they should be kept in a group of at least two animals for species-appropriate housing. As rabbits in particular are very active animals, a large run of several square meters should be provided in addition to the rodent hutch.
