FRED Chicken with Rice is a wonderfully light and hypoallergenic complete food for adult dogs. Developed in collaboration with veterinarian Dr. med. vet. Susan Kröger, this formula guarantees optimal nutrition in accordance with current FEDIAF standards. It offers your four-legged friend a meal that’s as healthy and delicious as homemade food, and its tender chicken meat will win over even the pickiest of dogs.
The strictly gluten-free, single-protein formula relies on a high-quality protein source made from 100% chicken. Only fresh muscle meat and hearts are used, making this meal ideal for dogs with allergies or sensitive digestion. All ingredients are 100% food-grade and approved for human consumption. No low-quality slaughter by-products are used at all. In addition to the tender chicken, nutritious rice and sweet potatoes provide easily digestible sources of energy. This wholesome, coarsely ground mixture is complemented by fresh vegetables and fruits such as peas, parsnips, and apples, as well as healthy safflower and flaxseed oils. The food is gently cooked, has a low to moderate purine content, and is therefore low in purines. Furthermore, the recipe is completely free of added sugar, artificial colors, preservatives, and flavor enhancers.
The meal is packaged in an innovative Tetra Pak, which offers a smart alternative to the traditional Can. This BPA-free packaging is made from 67% renewable raw materials and has an 80% lower carbon footprint than glass or cans. The material is sturdy, lightweight, and requires 30% less storage space. Thanks to the integrated perforation, the carton can be opened completely without tools and is also conveniently resealable.
