FRED SENIOR Chicken is a balanced complete food specially developed by Dr. Susan Kröger to meet the specific needs of older dogs. Since senior dogs often have different needs regarding kidney and liver function, joint health, and weight management, this easily digestible food has a lower phosphorus content to reduce the strain on these vital organs. Thanks to its deliberately lower energy content, this variety is also ideal for helping you manage your dog’s weight. The valuable fatty acids EPA and DHA from salmon oil and green-lipped mussels have an anti-inflammatory effect and are ideal for supporting joint health. Higher concentrations of zinc strengthen the immune system, while Jerusalem artichoke and inulin promote healthy digestion.
The grain-free, single-protein formula with 43% chicken is particularly easy to digest. It is strictly free of added sugar, meat by-products, artificial colors, preservatives, and flavor enhancers. In addition, the food is packaged in an environmentally friendly, resealable, and 100% recyclable Tetra Pak, which is made from 71% renewable raw materials and has an 85% reduced carbon footprint.

Daily feeding amount (per 1 kg of your dog's body weight):
