Feeding older dogs doesn't have to be complicated. You can continue to prepare the dog food for your senior yourself and at the same time cater for the special needs of the old dog.
If the home-cooked dog food or the senior-friendly barf ration comes from your own kitchen, it is the food supplement for dogs - Vitamin Optimix Senior - that adds the missing minerals and vitamins for dogs to the food. Senior dogs have an increased need for zinc, B vitamins and vitamin E. The addition of cooked carbohydrates is also recommended to reduce protein intake.

Energy requirements may vary depending on your pet's age, breed and activity level. The recommended feed quantities may therefore vary.
Cook the carbohydrates until very soft.
Roast the meat or cook it in water.
Vegetables and fruit can be fed raw (finely grated/pureed) or cooked. Please do not feed onions, garlic, grapes, raisins or avocado.
Various types of oil (e.g. safflower oil, rapeseed oil, walnut oil, linseed oil, salmon oil) are recommended for the supply of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. One teaspoon of oil is approx. 4 g.
To begin with, mix the mineral feed into the food in small portions over 4-5 days. Please do not heat, but only mix into the cooled feed ration.

Notre chien en prend quotidiennement dans sa nourriture. Tout va bien, il le mange.

Vitamin Optimix Senior passt in den Ernährungsplan meiner Hunde sehr gut. Einfache Handhabung. Wurde sofort angenommen ohne „meckern“ .

Meine Hündin ist sehr heikel, was Zusätze im selbst gekochten Essen angeht. Aber mit Vitamin Optimix Senior hatte ich nie Probleme. Sie ass es von Anfang an und verträgt es sehr gut. Gutes Produkt!!!

Grundsätzlich zufrieden, aber...
Das Produkt selbst verwende ich schon länger für meinen Senior und scheinbar bekommt es ihm gut.
Aber!
Ihr solltet wirklich eure Lieferanten anhalten, weniger Verpackung zu vergeuden.
