Futtermedicus Vitamin Optimix Struvite & Urate

Food supplements for dogs

Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urat - the mineral and vitamin supplement to compensate for nutritional imbalances for dogs with urinary crystals

Dogs with urinary crystals need the right food supplements to compensate for nutritional imbalances in a self-prepared feed plan. The food supplements for dogs - Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urat - provide minerals and vitamins for dogs that would be missing from a self-prepared feed plan. The magnesium and phosphorus content is low in line with requirements, while the methionine it contains ensures a urine pH value in the slightly acidic to neutral range.

  • Futtermedicus food supplements Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urat
  • Mineral powder for dogs (adult) to compensate for nutritional imbalances in dogs with urinary crystals
  • developed by Futtermedicus veterinarians
  • Vitamin-mineral mixture for cooked and partially barf rations
  • with low needs-oriented magnesium and phosphorus content
  • Contains DL-methionine to slightly acidify the urine
  • low in purine thanks to a protein-reduced feed plan
  • suitable for adult dogs
  • the booklet contains recipes for partial barfing and cooking for dogs of different weight classes

1 measuring spoon (spread) corresponds to approx. 3.5 g.

Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urat keeps the dog's urine pH value stable and ensures a needs-oriented supply of phosphorus and magnesium. At the same time, Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urat ensures an optimum supply of nutrients in the BARF food bowl and in the cooking ration. Self-prepared feed plans without suitable mineralization do not contain all the important vitamins and minerals for dogs. This can lead to long-term nutrient imbalances.

DL-methionine can be used to further acidify the urine pH value. It helps to shift the urine pH value into the desired range of 6.2 to 6.5 (see feeding instructions). Struvites dissolve in this range. After dissolution, the additional administration of DL-methionine can be discontinued.

Vitamin Optimix Struvite & Urate Powder

The premium nutrient powder Vitamin Optimix Struvit & Urate has a good taste and smell, even for demanding dogs. Due to its high concentration, the powder is very economical to use.
