Zeolite algae agent
A solid natural stone with many pores, cavities and channels. Zeolite has an adsorptive effect, i.e. environmental toxins and decay products are electrostatically attracted and retained by the cavity system. Zeolite promotes a rapid bacterial culture, inhibits algae growth and serves as an ion exchanger and catalyst. It is very practical to use the filter material in the HOBBY mesh bag. Contains no silicic acid, therefore also suitable for seawater.
HOBBY Zeolite is over 80% pure Clinop zeolite. Zeolite promotes a rapid culture of denitrifying bacteria, which fix and break down organic decomposition products from plants or fish excrement. Zeolite acts primarily as a catalyst and ion exchanger. It adsorbs environmental toxins and decomposition products, binds phosphate and especially ammonium and inhibits algae growth.

Es gibt keine Dosierung pro Liter und eine Überdosierung ist nicht möglich, da es sich um ein Filtermedium handelt, welches lediglich Schadstoffe entfernt.
