Icepaw Omega-3 oil for dogs is a mixture of two different fish oils (50 % sardines and 50 % anchovies). It is particularly rich in valuable omega-3 fatty acids and is a universal oil for dogs without intolerances. Icepaw Omega-3 Oil provides your dog with extra, vital omega-3 fatty acids, which have been proven to provide valuable energy and support the metabolism, immune system, skin and coat. Dogs absorb sufficient amounts of omega-6 fatty acids from the meaty components in their food. However, the body cannot synthesize omega-3 fatty acids itself from other nutrients. To ensure that your dog gets enough omega-3 fatty acids, you should supplement its diet with a high-quality fish oil that contains the fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in an optimal ratio.
