JBL PRO POND Sterlet
JBL ProPond Sterlet is a high-quality year-round food that is specially tailored to the needs of sturgeons and sterlets in the pond. The species-appropriate composition takes into account the natural feeding behavior of these bottom dwellers, which use their barbels to search for small invertebrates at the bottom. Thanks to an optimally balanced recipe with a protein/fat ratio of 3:1, the food supports the health and vitality of the animals at water temperatures between 10 and 25 °C.
The food contains valuable ingredients such as salmon, shrimps, tubifex, green mussels, spirulina and gammarus, which guarantee a natural and nutritious diet. The sinking food pearls are specially designed to remain at the bottom of the pond and meet the natural feeding habits of sturgeons.
With a high content of 34 % protein and 10 % fat as well as 2 % Crude fiber and 8 % Crude ash, JBL ProPond Sterlet offers an ideal nutrient supply for the whole year. The food contains no colorants or preservatives and is supplied in a resealable, airtight, watertight and lightproof bag that is fully recyclable.
Note: Sturgeons should always be fed with their own food, as the food has a different composition and the sterlets could also unintentionally injure the mucous membrane of koi in the fight for food via their bone plates. In practice, you can feed your goldfish and koi on the surface in one corner of the pond and feed the sinking sturgeon food in the other corner.
Feed once or twice a day as much as is eaten in a few minutes.
