The correct water parameters in a garden pond depend on the fish population and the plants present. Even if the water looks clear, it can still be contaminated. Poor water parameters can lead to diseases or algae growth in the pond. Regular monitoring and adjustment of
water parameters are essential for a healthy pond environment. With the JBL TestCombi Set Pond, you can determine the most important water parameters for your koi or garden pond.
Precise determination of the following parameters:
- PO4 Koi: Phosphate content of the water from 0.25 to 10 mg/l
- pH test: Acidity of the water from 3.0 to 10
- KH test: pH stability of the water (carbonate hardness)
- GH test: Total hardness
- NO2 Test: Toxic nitrogen compound (nitrite)
- NH4: Indicates non-toxic ammonium; toxic ammonia is determined using a table. Ammonium (NH4) is non-toxic to fish but is partially converted to toxic ammonia at pH values above 7.
Use biocides with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
