When problems arise (sick fish, plants not growing properly, strange odors in the water, algae issues), water tests are really the only way to get to the bottom of the causes! Once you’ve identified the cause using the tests, you can address it directly.
The tests are quick and easy to perform and provide accurate results.
Precise determination of the following values
- PO4 Sensitive: Phosphate content of the water from 0.5 to 1.8 mg/l
- PO4 Koi: Phosphate content of the water from 0.25 to 10 mg/l
- 02 Test: Oxygen content
- pH Test: Water acidity from 3.0 to 10
- pH Test: Water pH from 7.4 to 9.0
- KH Test: pH stability of the water (carbonate hardness)
- GH test: Total hardness
- NO2 test: Toxic nitrogen compound (nitrite)
- NO3 test: Cause of algae (nitrate)
- NH4 + NH3: Indication of non-toxic ammonium; determination of toxic ammonia via chart; ammonium (NH4) is non-toxic to fish but is partially converted to toxic ammonia (NH3) at pH values above 7
