Dry food
Kattovit Kidney/Renal dry food
Thanks to its particularly tasty recipe, Kattovit Kidney/Renal is also well accepted by many fussy cats. The dietary dry food has been specially developed for cats with chronic Renal insufficiency and can provide targeted support for kidney function. The composition is also designed to reduce the formation of oxalate stones.
Kattovit Kidney/Renal contains adapted amounts of protein, phosphorus and sodium to relieve the kidneys. The formula is supplemented with urinary alkalizing potassium citrate, which can contribute to less acidic urine and thus reduce the risk of oxalate crystals. Thanks to its balanced and wholesome composition, the diet food is also suitable for daily feeding.
Benefits:
- Complete dietary food for cats to support kidney function in chronic Renal insufficiency and to reduce the formation of oxalate stones
- Reduced protein content: less high-quality protein to protect the kidneys while supporting muscle maintenance
- Low sodium and phosphorus content to relieve the kidneys
- Urinary alkalizing: with potassium citrate for less acidic urine, can reduce the formation of oxalate crystals; also low vitamin D and calcium content
- Adapted protein-fat ratio: only around half of the energy comes from protein
- Wholesome recipe with important vitamins and minerals
- Particularly appetizing: is often well accepted even with a reduced appetite
General information:
- We recommend consulting your vet before using or extending the feeding period.
- During the feeding of a diet food, regular veterinary check-ups should be carried out.
- If your pet's state of health deteriorates, please seek veterinary advice immediately.
An average-sized cat (4 kg) receives approx. 60 g per day.
Recommended feeding duration: Initially up to 6 months, in case of acute Renal insufficiency 2-4 weeks.
It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period. Fresh water should always be freely available.
