KERALIT Hoof Care Liquid

KERALIT Hoof Care Liquid is an effective hoof care solution for horses that protects the hoof from decay and rot. It acts directly on problem areas of the frog and the white line, where horn-degrading bacteria and harmful substances can attack and weaken the horn.

KERALIT Frenulum Liquid contains tannins and salts that make the horn indigestible to these microorganisms and alter the environment they need to survive. The frenulum horn becomes firmer and drier, and the frenulum grooves heal.

KERALIT Frit Liquid is easy to use and penetrates the horn well and deeply. Simply moisten the horn with the liquid. The product is free of copper sulfate, iodoform, or antibiotics and is therefore gentle on the hoof. KERALIT Hoof Liquid is the ideal solution for horses with softened, foul-smelling, or cracked frog grooves.

Directions:

1. Thoroughly clean the frog grooves, preferably with a dry swab or cloth placed over a wooden tongue depressor. Change the cloth several times to remove all traces of dirt. Do not wash the hoof before application; it must be dry.

2. Apply a few drops of KERALIT Frog Liquid into the frog grooves using the dosing tip. Gently widen the frog grooves with the spatula so that the solution reaches every area.

Repeat the application daily for 3–4 days, then at longer intervals. For prevention, a weekly application is sufficient. Also ensure good stable hygiene to avoid factors that degrade hoof horn.

Doping Note: According to the FN-ADMR, there is no withdrawal period when used as directed on hooves.
