Kobre®Pond Phosphate Binder
Application
Kobre®Pond Phosphate Binder binds excess phosphates, thereby reducing the growth of floating and filamentous algae. The algae nutrient phosphate is bound and permanently removed from the water cycle. Particularly suitable for swimming and garden ponds without fish. For fish ponds, Kobre®Pond Phosphate Binder must be dosed at a correspondingly higher rate.
Application
Recommendation Transfer the granules into the enclosed bag. Seal the bag and secure it in the pond inlet or an area with good water flow. Remove the bag after three months and replace it with a new Kobre®Pond Phosphate Binder. The used material can be used as a nutrient-rich plant substrate in the garden.
Water
temperature Can be used regardless of water temperature.
Dosage
200 g per 10,000 liters of pond water. In fish ponds, we recommend double the dosage.
Use biocides with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
