Kobre®Pond Starter Bacteria Pearls
Area of application
To build up the bacterial strains in the filter and pond. The Pearls have the unique property of continuously releasing important microorganisms over several weeks. In this way they support the filter biology sustainably in breaking down dangerous nitrogenous substances such as ammonium and nitrite and achieve an extremely positive effect in terms of water quality.
Recommended use
Kobre®Pond Starter Bacteria Pearls can be used all year round to support nitrification. In any case, however, in spring and when restarting the filter. Ideally, the Pearls should be placed in the biochamber of the filter. It is not advisable to add the Pearls directly to the pond when stocking fish. The fish could mistakenly recognize them as food and eat them.
Important
Due to the way the product works, it is not necessary to switch off the UV-C light.
Water temperature
The optimum effect is achieved at temperatures > 15°C.
Dosage
1 liter of Kobre®Pond Starter Bacteria Pearls is suitable for approx. 20000 liters of water. The product cannot be overdosed. After a few weeks, when the Pearls have dissolved, you can add more.
