Lunderland Rice Vegetable Herb Mix:

It would be wrong to describe dogs and cats as pure carnivores - in their natural, Game form they are"prey eaters".
With the prey animal, they ingest not only meat, but also the stomach contents (which are usually of plant origin), the coat and the bones.
In order to ensure a sufficient supply of carbohydrates and fiber when feeding meat, it is advisable to use flakes.
There are a variety of ready-made flake mixtures on the market. They all have one thing in common: the vegetable content is too low. This should be at least 20% for dogs and 10% for cats.

Lundersland is convinced that a healthy diet is always a varied diet and is based on the freshest, unprocessed food possible.
Dogs:
- Puppies: approx. 80 % meat and 20 % flake
- adult dogs: approx. 2/3 meat and 1/3 flakes
- old dogs: approx. 50 % meat and 50 % flakes
Cats:
- Young cats: approx. 90 % meat and 10 % flakes
- adult cats: approx. 80 % meat and 20 % flakes
Take plenty of hot water and leave the flakes to soak for at least 15 minutes.
To increase digestibility, it is possible to grind the dry flakes or puree the moist flakes.
A teaspoon of oil can also be added to the flakes to aid the absorption of vitamins. After swelling, the flakes can be mixed with raw or cooked meat or canned meat, for example.
Only feed freshly prepared flakes. Pre-soaked cereals can become sour after a few hours - especially in summer - and thus become incompatible for dogs and cats.
Note on dosage:
To obtain 100 g of soaked flakes, you need approx. 29 g of Lunderland-Schonkostflocke and approx. 71 g of warm to hot water.
Pour the water over the flake and leave it to soak for approx. 15 to 20 minutes.
