Lunderland pollock wild fish oil

Lunderland pollock wild fish oil comes from sustainable and fully traceable fishing in Alaska. It is obtained from the first mechanical pressing of the fish carcasses without the addition of heat(cold pressing). Due to the clean waters near the poles, the oil is only filtered, but not refined or deodorized. Due to the gentle processing, the oil is significantly more stable than highly purified oils and contains the full range of valuable components of salmon oil (astaxanthin, phospholipids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, etc.), which are largely lost during refining.

To protect the omega fatty acids, the oil is bottled under nitrogen.

The oil also contains natural vitamins A, D3 and E, as well as astaxanthin.

Its fishy taste is generally well accepted by the animals, but feeders may need to be accustomed to the oil with small quantities. For fish lovers, Lunderland pollack wild fish oil can become a natural attractant.

The oil gets its orange color from the shells of the crustaceans that serve as food for pollack. The streaky deposits and cloudiness come from waxes typical of oil, which are retained in the oil as it is not refined. This makes the oil appear almost creamy, milky or even streaky. This is not a loss of quality, but on the contrary a sign of quality!

Benefits of adding pollock wild fish oil to the feed are the high omega-3 and low omega-6 content of the oil. Omega-3 is a valuable fatty acid that is also vital for humans and is mainly found in oily fish. Omega-3 (DHA) is crucial for brain development - both in humans and dogs. In four-legged friends, omega-3 also has good effects on the skin and coat. These are just some of the positive effects of omega fatty acids.

The areas of application and benefits of wild salmon oil are wide-ranging:

  • It is recommended during pregnancy and puppy rearing.
  • It has a positive effect on the coat and skin, for example in cases of itching or dandruff.
  • Due to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, it can also have a positive effect on the metabolism, allergies and inflammatory processes, for example in the context of joint diseases.
  • In addition, the omega-3 fatty acids it contains strengthen the immune system.
  • Many studies have also shown that they support heart function.
  • There are now numerous and easily accessible studies on the health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids.
  • Lunderland pollock wild fish oil has an approx. 3x higher omega-3 fatty acid content than conventional farmed salmon oils!

The company Lunderland, based in Lüchow, Germany, emphasizes personal responsibility when feeding dogs and cats:

Ist das Öl aus Aquakultur? Oder 100% Wildfang?
Your iPet team
