Moro's carrot soup is a tried and tested household remedy for acute diarrhea. It consists of carrots, water and salt, is cooked for a long time, works quickly and has no side effects. The modern version with psyllium husks enhances the effect: these contain soluble fiber, regulate digestion, promote intestinal health and help to firm the stool or regulate it if necessary.
