Optimera BoneWise is a nutritional supplement in pellet form designed to support the bones of horses of all ages.

It contains lithothamnion. This mineral from marine algae contains calcium as well as magnesium, boron, silicon, zinc and manganese. It has a structure similar to honeycomb, providing digestive enzymes with a large surface area for optimal digestion and absorption of minerals over time. Studies at Michigan State University have shown a significant increase in bone metabolism and bone density as well as an 11% increase in bone mineral content compared to calcium carbonate supplements.
