To restore and maintain an optimal fluid intake. In animals with diarrhea, the mechanisms for the absorption of water and nutrients in the small intestine are disturbed. By activating the glucose-sodium cotransporter system, water absorption can be maximized and hydration status improved.
Oralade Advanced GI+ is formulated to activate the glucose-sodium cotransporter system in the small intestine through the ratio of electrolytes and glucose, allowing optimal absorption of electrolytes and water.

MICROENTERAL NUTRITION - supports intestinal function
When dogs and cats do not eat, the nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract are lacking and the enterocytes begin to degenerate. This is followed by loss of villus structure, epithelial integrity, immune and absorption function. Oralade Advanced GI+ contains important amino acids and simple sugars to support the enterocytes as well as prebiotics to promote a healthy gastrointestinal microbiome.

Actual requirements may vary depending on the age, breed and activity level of the animal. If an animal is considered to be at risk, hydration should be proactively managed by encouraging fluid and electrolyte intake.
