Orijen stands for a natural, biologically appropriate diet - just as nature intended for dogs.
As original carnivores, dogs are dependent on protein-rich food made from high-quality animal ingredients. Orijen Dog Regional Red has been developed with this principle in mind and contains a unique variety of fresh or raw beef, Game, lamb, pork and wild-caught fish.
Orijen Regional Red is made from 85% high quality free range and wild caught animal ingredients. The first five ingredients are fresh or raw beef, wild boar, lamb, pork liver and beef liver. The recipe follows the proven WholePrey principle and contains meat, organs and bones in natural proportions to provide your dog with all the essential nutrients in their natural form. The low carbohydrate content and low glycemic composition also support a stable blood sugar level.

Das Aujeszky-Virus wird beim Erhitzen von Fleisch über 80°C sicher abgetötet. Diese Temperaturen werden bei der Herstellung von Orijen-Trockenfutter überschritten. Eine Übertragung ist nur beim Verfüttern von rohem Fleisch infizierter Schweine oder Wildschweine möglich.
