Paws & Patch Grain Field Rice Flakes
The hulled and pre-cooked Paws & Patch Getreidefeld rice flakes are an ideal addition to home-cooked food, BARF rations or a light diet. The rice flakes are also used as a supplement to dry or wet food. Due to the high proportion of fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients and trace elements, rice flakes are a popular supplement. Rice flakes are easy to digest and suitable for animals with intolerances. Very economical, the content of a 500g pack corresponds to 1.5 kg of rice after preparation.
The rice flakes are made from fresh, natural rice. They are free from artificial flavors, additives and added sugar. Due to the drying and processing, they have a long shelf life and are easy to use. They only have a short swelling time and are very economical.
Origin
Italy is the largest rice producer in Europe and offers various high-quality rice varieties. Paws & Patch rice flakes are grown and harvested in Italy. They are pre-cooked, rolled and dried in a gentle production process. The rice flakes are hulled and then flaked as small as possible after the drying process. This guarantees a short swelling time and better digestibility.

Soak the rice flakes in hot water for approx. 10 minutes, water to flakes ratio 2:1. After soaking, allow the rice flakes to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the flakes can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon = 6 g. 6 g of dried rice flakes = 18 g of swollen flakes.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR DOGS
The total ration per day depends on the weight and activity of the dog: 20-40 g of food per kg body weight per day
Recommended ration composition
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (swollen)
Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (swollen)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables/rice/fruit/herbs (swollen)
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR CATS
Maximum 2 g rice flakes per kg body weight
