Paws & Patch Garden Menu No. 2 - Pumpkin, parsnip, beet, fennel, sage, dandelion
The Paws & Patch Garden Menu No. 2 was developed with animal nutrition experts and is an ideal accompaniment to home-cooked food, BARF rations or a light diet. The menu can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food. In addition to selected dried vegetables, the mixture also contains herbs and "superfoods". The menu is naturally rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients and trace elements. All ingredients are finely chopped. Thanks to the ideal mixing ratio, the menu is highly palatable for dogs. Very economical, one pack corresponds to around 2 kg of freshly prepared vegetables and herbs.
- Vegetables
Beetroot is low in calories and naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin is naturally rich in nutrients and vitamins, high in fiber and low in calories. The parsnip is rich in vitamins and fiber and is considered a white power root. The parsnip and pumpkin flakes as well as the beet strips are gently processed, making them an easily digestible vegetable side dish with a high taste acceptance among dogs. Garden Menu No. 2 is also suitable for sensitive dogs due to its ingredients. - Herbs & superfoods
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been used as a medicinal plant for thousands of years. Fennel is naturally rich in vitamins A, K, E, folic acid and beta-carotene as well as the minerals iron and potassium. Fennel also contains essential oil and thus supports normal gastrointestinal activity.
Sage (Salvia officinalis) is derived from the Latin word "salvus", which means "healthy" or "saving". The dried sage leaves provide valuable antioxidants, as well as calcium, potassium, iron, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Dandelion herb (Taraxacum sect. Ruderalia) belongs to the composite family. Dandelion herb is naturally rich in potassium, calcium and fiber. Calcium supports the normal functioning of the digestive system and is a nutritive support for the muscles. Dandelion is also rich in bitter substances. They ensure that more salivary and gastric acid as well as digestive hormones and enzymes are produced.

Soak the mixture in hot water for 10 minutes. The ratio of water to flakes should be 2:1. After soaking, allow the mixture to cool and add to the meat. If necessary, the mixture can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon corresponds to about 5 g of the mixture. 5 g of the dried mixture corresponds to approximately 20 g of the swollen mixture.

The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. They may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.

Mein Hund hatte starken Zahnstein, als ich ihn adoptiert habe. Ich putze ihm alle 2 Tage nun seine Zähne. Tendenz ist immer noch stark da. Ich ernähre ihn mit selbstgekochtem Futter das eher weich ist, und bin auf der Suche nach Trockenfutter für Zähne"abnutzung". Kann "Gartenmenü" auch trocken gefüttert werden?
Your iPet team Das "paws & patch Garten Menü" muss eingeweicht werden, da sonst die Flocken im Magen aufquellen. Es sollte nicht trocken gefüttert werden. Reguläres Trockenfutter bewirkt zudem kaum einen relevanten Zahnabrieb. Für eine mechanische Zahnreinigung sind ausschliesslich tierärztliche Zahndiäten mit spezieller Krokettenstruktur geeignet oder spezielle Kauartikel, wie zum Beispiel Veggiedent Fresh. Eine weitere Möglichkeit zur Verlangsamung der Zahnsteinbildung sind Ergänzungsfutter, die Seealgen enthalten, wie das Proden Plaqueoff Pulver oder die Lupo Plaqueex-Pellets.
