The green-lipped mussel powder from Paws & Patch consists of the pure mussel meat of the "Perna canaliculus" (green-lipped mussel), without using the shells. The powder is of full-fat quality and is naturally rich in glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), omega fatty acids, vitamins, amino acids and minerals. The green-lipped mussel powder can be used as a cure or as a regular feed supplement. It is finely ground and can be easily dosed. Free from artificial additives or fillers. Origin
Paws & Patch green-lipped mussel powder is obtained from the pure mussel meat of the green-lipped mussel. The green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is basically very similar to the so-called blue mussel. They grow to between 10 and 25 cm in size and originally come from New Zealand. The indigenous people living there, the Maoris, have been using mussel meat as food for more than 6,000 years. As early as 1980, research into the life of the Maoris investigated the effects on joint metabolism and joint function.
