Paws & Patch beet strips
The dried and pre-cooked beet strips from Paws & Patch are an ideal accompaniment to home-cooked food, BARF rations or a light diet. The beet strips can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food. Beet is low in calories and naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. The gently steam-cooked beet strips are easy to digest and have a high taste acceptance among dogs.
Origin and processing
Many vegetable products for animals available on the market are imported from Asia and often processed with sugar. Only beet from European farms is used in the production of Paws & Patch Beetroot Strips. The processing also takes place entirely in Europe. The beet is peeled, cut into small pieces and gently steam-cooked for 15-20 minutes at 95 degrees (this preparation reduces the swelling time when preparing at home). The beet strips are then dried with hot air and thermally processed without losing their natural flavor. For animals with sensitive stomachs, it is also possible to puree the strips after swelling.
100% natural
Paws & Patch beet strips are made from fresh beet. They are free from artificial flavors, additives and added sugar. The drying and processing process means they have a long shelf life and are easy to use. The multi-stage production process ensures that important nutrients and the natural taste are retained. Beet consists of 90 % water and is therefore low in calories. The strips are therefore also suitable for dogs with a tendency to gain weight and as a light diet. Beet is naturally rich in vitamins and minerals.
Resealable packaging
The Paws & Patch beet strips are supplied in environmentally friendly paper packaging with a resealable inner bag. This inner bag guarantees a fresh aroma with every feed. The resealable packaging also makes it easier to store and portion the beet strips.

Soak the beet strips in hot water for approx. 20 minutes. Ratio of water to strips 2:1. After soaking, allow the beet strips to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the strips can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon corresponds to about 5 g beet strips. 5 g of dried strips correspond to about 30 g of swollen strips.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR DOGS
The total ration per day depends on the weight and activity of the dog: A total of 20-40 g of food (meat and vegetables) per kg of body weight per day
Recommended ration composition
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (swollen)
Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (swollen)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (swollen)
The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. They may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.
NOTE
Only use freshly prepared strips. Also provide fresh drinking water.
Dogs with a tendency to kidney or bladder stones should not be fed beet.
