Paws & Patch zucchini flakes
The dried zucchini flakes from Paws & Patch are an ideal addition to home-cooked food, BARF rations or to a light diet. The zucchini flakes can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food. Due to its high vitamin and mineral content, zucchini is a popular vegetable supplement. Zucchini flakes are easily digestible and low in calories.
Origin and processing
Zucchinis originated from a further cultivation of the garden pumpkin, which was widespread in North and South America. They first appeared on a large scale in Europe in the 17th century in Italian markets. This is also where their name comes from. It is derived from the word "zucca", which in its diminutive form means "zucchino", a small pumpkin. Many vegetable products available on the market for animals are imported from Asia and often processed with sugar. For the production of Paws & Patch zucchini flakes, only zucchinis from European farms are used. The processing also takes place entirely in Europe. The zucchinis are washed and cut into small pieces. At the end of the processing process, the zucchini flakes are dried with hot air and thermally processed without losing their natural taste. For animals with sensitive stomachs, it is also possible to puree the flakes after swelling.

Paws & Patch zucchini flakes are made from fresh, natural zucchinis. They are free from artificial flavors, additives and added sugar. Thanks to the drying and processing, they have a long shelf life and are easy to use. The multi-stage production process ensures that important nutrients and the natural taste are retained. Zucchinis are naturally rich in vitamins and minerals.
Resealable packaging
Paws & Patch zucchini flakes are supplied in environmentally friendly paper packaging with a resealable inner bag. This inner bag guarantees a fresh aroma with every feed. The resealable packaging also makes it easier to store and portion the flakes.

Soak the zucchini flakes in hot water for approx. 10 minutes. Ratio of water to flakes 2:1. After soaking, allow the zucchini flakes to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the flakes can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon corresponds to about 5 g zucchini flakes. 5 g of dried flakes correspond to about 20 g of swollen flakes.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR DOGS
The total ration per day depends on the weight and activity of the dog: 20-40 g of food per kg body weight per day
Recommended ration composition
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (swollen)
Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (swollen)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (swollen)
