The Flectabed® range consists of an inner quilt and various outer covers. The inner quilt combines two key elements of thermal insulation to keep dogs warm all year round. Multi-layered fibers include pockets of warm air to reduce heat loss and reflective surfaces that return lost body heat to the animal. Flectabed dog and cat beds use a revolutionary, lightweight insulating material developed specifically for its thermal properties. It is based on NASA research into aluminized surfaces that can reflect up to 95% of the radiated heat. The material is called "Flectalon" and reflects and amplifies your own body heat like an infrared heat source.
