After castration or sterilization, cats often need an adapted diet to maintain a healthy body weight and support the metabolic rate. Platinum MeatCrisp Sterilized contains carefully selected ingredients to meet these needs.
This premium cat food consists of 83% fresh meat and contains no meat and bone meal. The fresh meat is gently dried in a special process. As a result, the MeatCrisp comes closer to the natural prey of cats than most commercial cat foods. Changing food
As cats are very picky, we recommend a slow changeover over several days. At the beginning, only a few kibbles should be mixed with the familiar dry food to get the cat used to the new smell and taste. This amount can then be continuously increased over the next few days. After about a week, the cat will usually have become accustomed to the new food.
If your cat still refuses the food, go back to the familiar food and try the changeover in smaller steps. Under no circumstances should you allow your cat to starve, as this can be life-threatening for your cat.
- Always have fresh water available.
- At the beginning, please feed the low value of the feeding recommendation. Only feed more if necessary.
