ROYAL CANIN® Glycobalance Small Dogs contains a reduced level of digestible carbohydrates, a high protein content to maintain muscle mass, and a moderate fat content to maintain a healthy weight. This scientifically-based approach supports the dietary management of diabetes mellitus in small dog breeds.
Important Note
: This product is a veterinary diet from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Accordingly, it is important that this food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives exactly the nutrition it truly needs. A change in diet should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size—especially when mixing foods.
Mixed feeding is possible
To accommodate the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Glycobalance can be combined with ROYAL CANIN® Glycobalance Low Carbohydrate Mousse. Mixed feeding gives the food different textures, which can be appealing and positively influence consistent, predictable food intake. Wet food has a more intense aroma, and its moisture content helps regulate the animal’s hydration. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to digest and good for the teeth.

Pour un caniche de 4.5 kg ayant un besoin énergétique d'environ 280 kcal par jour, une boite complète couvre déjà la majeure partie de ses besoins. Il convient d'ajouter environ 40 g de croquettes Glycobalance par jour. Les besoins énergétiques individuels des chiens dépendent largement de facteurs tels que l'activité, l'environnement, la race et le tempérament. Les quantités de nourriture indiquées ici ne doivent donc servir que de point de départ. Le poids de l'animal doit être contrôlé régulièrement et la quantité de nourriture adaptée en conséquence.
