Unser Kater hat viele Gallensteine. Der TA hat dieses Futter empfohlen. Gerne würde ich aber auch mit Nassfutter mischen, auch weil der Kater nur noch die 4 Reisszähne hat. Könnte man mit gastrointestinal von Royal Canin ergänzen oder gibt es noch Alternativen für Nassfutter?
Das Farmina VetLife Hepatic in Dosen ist ein gut geeignetes Nassfutter für Katzen mit Leberproblemen und kann mit dem Royal Canin Hepatic Trockenfutter kombiniert werden.
Das Royal Canin Hepatic ist spezifisch auf Erkrankungen der Leber und des Gallensystems, wie Gallensteine, ausgerichtet. Sie zielt darauf ab, dieses Organsystem durch eine sorgfältig angepasste Nährstoffzusammensetzung, beispielsweise durch kontrollierte Fett- oder Kupfergehalte, zu entlasten. Das von Ihnen erwähnte "Gastrointestinal"-Futter ist hingegen für primäre Magen-Darm-Störungen konzipiert und weist ein anderes Nährwertprofil auf. Eine Mischung von zwei unterschiedlichen therapeutischen Diäten ist nicht zu empfehlen, da dies die spezifische Wirkung der "Hepatic"-Rezeptur beeinträchtigen und die diätetische Unterstützung bei Gallensteinen abschwächen würde.
