ROYAL CANIN® Hypoallergenic is a balanced and nutritious formula specifically formulated to help adult dogs with nutrient intolerances, food intolerances and sensitive skin.

Hydrolyzed protein
Hydrolyzed protein with a low molecular weight makes this formula a highly digestible hypoallergenic food. The hydrolyzed proteins reduce the risk of an intolerance reaction.
Skin barrier
This formula contains a combination of selected nutrients that support the skin's natural barrier function and therefore its health.
EPA/DHA
This food contains EPA and DHA (omega-3 essential fatty acids) to help maintain your dog's skin and intestinal health.
Healthy digestion
Additional nutrients also ensure a balanced intestinal flora and thus promote an optimal digestive system.
Important note
This product is a veterinary food from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. It is therefore important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a vet. This will ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it really needs. A change in diet should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size - especially with mixed feeding.
Mixed feeding possible
To meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Hypoallergenic is also available as a wet food with a soft mousse texture. Mixed feeding gives the food different consistencies, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavor and its moisture content helps to regulate the animal's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to ingest and good for the teeth.

Guten Tag
Mein 8 Monate alter Junghund hat Juckreiz und immer wieder zu dünnen Kot. Nachdem alles andere, v.a. Parasiten, ausgeschlossen sind, wurde mir von der Dermatologin empfohlen, eine Diät mit auschliesslich Hypoallergenic (HA) von RC zu verfüttern. 6 bis 8 Wochen. Ich habe schon vor einer Woche begonnen, das HA beizumischen, ab heute bekommt er ausschliesslich HA. Die Verdauung hat sich auch schon merklich verbessert, der Juckreiz natürlich nicht.
Aber nun habe ich gerade gelesen, dass im HA auch Reis drin ist, und Reis hat er vorher schon oft bekommen ( gekocht mit Karotten). Ist das nun ein Problem für die Ausschlussdiät?
Und darf ich dem HA überhaupt nichts beifügen, auch kein Gemüse wie Broccoli oder Karotten, und auch kein Öl für sein Fell?
Finde es sehr schwierig, auch weil er nichts mehr zum Kauen bekommt.
Vielleicht haben Sie mir ein paar gute Tipps?
