Sanafino insect repellent mix
Sanafino insect protection is a balanced feed mix of hemp fine meal and an optimized herbal mixture. 1-2 weeks after the start of feeding, the animals develop an odor that many insects find unpleasant and thus protects the animal.
Animals are often plagued by mosquitoes, flies and ticks in spring and summer. Sanafino's insect repellent for animals offers a remedy on a purely plant-based and natural basis. At the same time, this complementary food, which is based on our hemp fine meal, provides your animal with important fatty acids, vitamins and nourishing fiber.
Herbs used in the insect repellent mix:
Horsetail, Iceland moss, nettle herb, walnut leaves, birch leaves, pansy herb, couch grass root, milk thistle, yarrow herb, dandelion herb, black cumin seeds, brewer's yeast.
Feeding recommendation for insect repellent mix:
Start feeding daily approx. 2 weeks before the fly/tick season and continue until the insect season comes to an end.
During a 5-day acclimatization phase, we recommend reducing the daily dosage by half. The fine meal mix can also be fed slightly moistened.
Dosages:
Horse: per 100 kg / 20 g
Dog: up to 10kg / 8-13g, 3-4 times a week
Dog from 10kg: per 10kg / 14g
Storage:
Store in a cool place and in sealed packaging!
Shelf life in original container (unopened) approx. 12 months, use within 3-4 months after opening.

German Equestrian Federation (FN)
The FN provides the following information: The hemp plant as a whole, i.e. flowers, leaves, stems etc. is prohibited. Hemp press cake, if it contains the above-mentioned ingredients, is prohibited. There is no information on products made from the hemp nut, not even on hemp oil obtained from the hemp nut. The THC content in our hemp products is below 0.2% in accordance with EU regulations. There is no information on a possible withdrawal period for hemp products produced from the hemp nut.
However, we recommend observing a 48-hour withdrawal period.

The FEI is in agreement with Sanafino hemp products: A maximum value of 0.3 mg per liter of urine water is mentioned for arsenic. Sanafino hemp products fall below this value at 0.03 mg per liter.
