SPECIFIC Food Allergy Management FDD-HY

Complete dietary food for cats to support food intolerance

Indications:

  • Food reactions (food allergy and/or food intolerance) leading to dermatological or gastrointestinal disorders
  • Elimination diet
  • Gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhea, vomiting and flatulence caused by malabsorption and maldigestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and acute gastroenteritis
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Properties:

Hydrolyzed salmon protein with a molecular weight < 10,000 Daltons provides excellent digestibility and low allergenic potential.

Rice has a low allergenic potential and high digestibility, making it an ideal ingredient for hypoallergenic complete diets. Rice contains no gluten, preventing symptoms in cats with gluten allergy/gluten intolerance.

Due to its excellent digestibility and the quality of the ingredients, this dietary food is especially recommended for clinical symptoms of small intestinal diarrhea.

An induced urine pH value below 6.4 prevents the formation of struvite stones.

A balanced complete food with the recommended nutrient content that meets the nutritional requirements of growing and adult cats. This complete food is therefore also suitable for kittens.

The individual daily requirement can vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc.. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly.

Specific Food Allergen Management FDD-HY basiert auf hydrolysiertem Lachs und Reis, was es zu einer exzellenten Wahl bei IBD macht, da das allergene Potenzial minimiert wird. Für Pankreasprobleme ist es ebenfalls sehr gut geeignet, da es mit ca. 12.5 % Fett im Trockenfutter vergleichsweise fettarm konzipiert wurde. Dies entlastet die Bauchspeicheldrüse effektiv bei gleichzeitiger hoher Verdaulichkeit. Das Specific Food Allergen Management FDW Nassfutter hingegen, ist für Katzen mit IBD ebenfalls gut geeignet, weil Allergien gegenüber Lammfleisch bei Katzen sehr selten sind. Es ist jedoch nicht fettreduziert, was es für Katzen mit akuten Bauchspeicheldrüsenentzündungen weniger geeignet macht.
