Properties:

The individual daily requirement can vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc.. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly. During lactation, the energy requirement depends on the number of puppies. For 2, 4 and 8 puppies, the energy requirement is 1.5, 2 and 3 times the requirement for normal adult cats. Lactating cats should have free access to food.
