Increased amounts of energy, proteins, vitamins and minerals meet the requirements during the growth of puppies and support the normal development of the skeleton.

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that supports puppy development (brain and vision).

EPA and DHA are omega-3 fatty acids that support skin and coat functions as well as the physiological development of joints.

The individual daily requirement can vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc.. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly. During lactation, the energy requirement depends on the number of puppies. For 2, 4 and 8 puppies, the energy requirement is 1.5, 2 and 3 times the requirement for normal adult dogs. It is important to avoid overweight and rapid growth in puppies.
